Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Paper Mill

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our paper mill in Corlu. The successful candidate will lead maintenance activities, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance teams to guarantee efficient, uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage the maintenance budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Develop, implement, and refine reliable maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate complex maintenance and installation projects with cross‑functional teams.
• Introduce innovative practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Translate corporate objectives into departmental targets and define KPIs.
• Monitor performance and provide monthly reports to senior management.
• Foster a collaborative team culture and identify training needs.

Required profile

• University degree or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance engineer in a production environment.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience managing blue‑collar teams.
• Valid B‑class driving licence.
• No military obligations or travel restrictions.
