Medical Affairs Scientist – Izmir

About the role

The Medical Affairs Scientist will provide deep medical and scientific expertise to support healthcare professionals, patient groups and other decision makers. Based in Izmir, the role focuses on developing and delivering local medical strategy and lifecycle clinical plans for Pfizer’s medicines in the assigned therapy area.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the local medical strategy and lifecycle clinical plans for Pfizer’s inline and pipeline medicines.
• Communicate the safe, appropriate use and value of Pfizer medicines to improve patient outcomes and support business needs.
• Create industry‑leading digital educational and scientific content that is timely, balanced and interactive.
• Champion the patient voice when shaping medical strategies.
• Provide high‑quality scientific exchange and bring insights into the organization to shape strategy.
• Establish and maintain deep relationships with healthcare professionals, professional associations and patient groups.
• Review and approve medical materials and activities in line with regulatory and company codes.
• Identify data gaps, generate real‑world data/evidence and support market access initiatives.
