Network Administrator

About the role

Kerman Khodro Auto Component Design & Engineering (KADEC), an automotive components company founded in 1996, is hiring a full-time, on-site Network Administrator in Istanbul. The role manages, monitors and maintains the company's network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity, working closely with IT and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices, and carry out routine system and network administration tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues, and provide technical support to internal users.
• Implement network security measures such as access controls, patching and monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to plan network upgrades, optimise performance and support business-critical applications.
• Document network configurations, procedures and incident resolutions, and take part in backup and disaster recovery efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong network and system administration skills, troubleshooting and technical support abilities.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and follow structured change management processes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Certifications such as CCNA or Network+ are an advantage.

Required skills

• TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, Wi-Fi and common network protocols and tools (ping, traceroute, monitoring solutions).
• Windows Server and Linux; knowledge of virtualisation or cloud environments is beneficial.
• Firewall, VPN and access control concepts.
