Network Technology Technical Architect (Hybrid)

About the role

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Network Technology Technical Architect to lead network transformation and architecture projects across data‑center, campus and branch environments. The role focuses on designing, migrating and optimizing high‑availability networks for large‑scale organisations, preferably in banking or finance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve data‑center, campus and branch network architectures, including Cisco ACI environments.
• Plan and execute legacy network migrations to modern data‑center architectures.
• Provide architectural guidance on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies and assess Cisco Nexus and Catalyst infrastructures.
• Support designs involving BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, VLAN, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP and QoS.
• Evaluate MPLS, WAN, SD‑WAN, VPN and internet connectivity architectures.
• Support Aruba ClearPass, 802.1X and NAC designs.
• Develop high‑availability, business continuity and disaster‑recovery architectures.
• Prepare HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, technical specifications and capacity plans.
• Lead PoCs and technical evaluations for new technologies.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, technical guidance and mentoring to network teams.

Required profile

• Advanced experience in enterprise network technologies and large‑scale, high‑availability environments.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco ACI components (APIC, spine‑leaf fabric, tenants, VRF, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts).
• Experience with Cisco Nexus 9000, Catalyst platforms and data‑center network design.
• Proven ability to prepare detailed network architecture documentation and guide technical teams.
