Night Manager – Front Office Lead

About the role

The Night Manager leads the Front Office team during overnight hours, ensuring guests receive a seamless experience from check‑in to check‑out. This position is pivotal in maintaining high service standards, handling night audits, and responding to any incidents that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Front Office operation during night shifts, maintaining high service standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regular and VIP guests.
• Complete Night Audit duties and maximize room occupancy using up‑selling techniques.
• Handle foreign currency, credit card, and cash transactions in line with hotel credit policy.
• Manage and resolve emergencies or issues promptly, following security and emergency procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive handovers for the early shift and duty manager.
• Conduct health and safety checks, night walks, and maintain awareness of all hotel areas.
• Support other departments when needed and assist with team training and development.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Night Manager or similar supervisory role in the hotel industry.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Accountable, resilient and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• High level of IT proficiency.
• Experience with Front Office Management Systems.
• Cash handling expertise.
