Outbound Groupage Specialist – Aegean Region

About the role

We are looking for an Outbound Groupage Specialist to manage road export operations for the Aegean region. You will plan, coordinate and monitor end‑to‑end export parcel processes, ensuring timely and cost‑effective deliveries while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute road export parcel operations from start to finish.
• Track daily operations, close previous‑day activities and ensure accurate reporting.
• Analyze customer requests, create transport plans and organise shipments.
• Schedule vehicles based on cost and profitability targets.
• Design freight routes and guarantee smooth execution.
• Coordinate with carriers, overseas offices, customs brokers, warehouses and other partners.
• Keep customers regularly informed throughout the export process.
• Prepare and follow up on transport and customs documentation.
• Manage system records such as AVIS, unloading instructions, EDI checks, arrival and departure notices.
• Provide daily vehicle and load status updates to stakeholders.
• Generate revenue invoices and ensure expense entries are recorded on time.
• Maintain accurate reference, position and operational data in the system.
• Oversee billing and profit‑sharing with overseas offices.
• Evaluate price requests from customers and partners and respond promptly.
• Coordinate loading, dispatch and receipt activities with warehouse teams.
• Work with import teams to plan return‑load schedules.
• Proactively manage disruptions and propose lasting solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, operational procedures and customer expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in road export operations.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of road transport, export operations, customs processes and shipping documentation.
• Preferably experience with logistics operation software (TMS/ERP).
• Analytical mindset with quick, accurate decision‑making.
• Excellent planning, organisation and coordination abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation skills.
