Packaging Development Manager, Lüleburgaz Plant

About the role

Danone Türkiye is seeking a Packaging Development Manager for its Lüleburgaz plant. The role translates marketing concepts and consumer needs into industrialised packaging solutions, leading the development of innovative packaging for the dairy portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design and industrialise packaging concepts, ensuring compatibility with products and manufacturing lines.
• Evaluate packaging requirements early in cross‑functional projects and contribute to the ideation phase.
• Plan, execute and analyse pilot and industrial trials, collect analytical data and support product launches.
• Provide technical assistance during production, troubleshoot packaging‑related issues and hand over solutions to the industrial department.
• Build and maintain relationships with key packaging suppliers and drive innovation and renovation projects.
• Collaborate with the international Danone Dairy R&I Pack community and participate in global packaging development trials.
• Lead DIJ pack projects and D4R evaluations.

Required profile

• University degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry Engineering, Packaging Science or Polymer Science.
• 5‑7 years of experience in packaging development or a related packaging production sector.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Solid knowledge of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging materials and production processes.
• Understanding of dairy products and processes.
• Fluent English and good computer proficiency.
