People and Culture Specialist

About the role

The Global People & Culture Specialist will manage HR administration, legal compliance and business partnering for NMQ Digital’s Istanbul office. This hybrid role supports the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while contributing to global HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer payroll, benefits (private health insurance, meal cards, pension plans) and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare employment contracts, manage vendor agreements and liaise with external legal counsel.
• Ensure compliance with Turkish labour law, SGK, İŞKUR and GDPR requirements.
• Provide HR business partner support to line managers, handle employee queries and organise internal events.
• Develop and implement AI‑driven automation projects to improve global HR processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish labour law and social security legislation.
• High attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
