Process Team Lead (Solid Production Supervisor)

About the role

The Process Team Lead oversees daily manufacturing operations in the Manufacturing Unit, fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability and continuous improvement. The role delivers high-quality products in line with GMP, HSE and Novartis standards while improving efficiency, productivity and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the shop floor through regular presence, walkthroughs and support; plan resources, production schedules and priorities, and coordinate personnel, materials, equipment and documentation to keep production flowing.
• Support batch release, batch record review, SOP maintenance and process documentation; lead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
• Build and coach high-performing teams, ensure associates are trained and qualified for GMP work, and support talent development and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE, quality management systems and regulatory requirements, maintain audit readiness and implement Business Continuity Plans.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean Leadership, visual management, TPM, process optimization, technology transfer and productivity projects, using data analytics to track yield, OAE and cycle time.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Life Sciences or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry in a GMP-regulated environment.
• At least 2 years of people leadership or supervisory experience preferred; commercial manufacturing experience highly desirable.
• Fluent Turkish and advanced English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Experience with manufacturing systems such as MES or SAP.
• Lean management and operational excellence methods, process improvement and root cause investigation.
• Leadership, communication, stakeholder management and analytical thinking.
