Procurement Manager

About the role

Recordati is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead direct and indirect procurement activities for its operations in Turkey, including contract manufacturing organization (CMO) functions. The role focuses on delivering cost efficiency, ensuring supply continuity, and aligning procurement practices with the Group’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local and international procurement, CMO activities and customs compliance in line with legal and internal standards.
• Ensure SAP alignment, internal controls and adherence to GMP, EHS and corporate requirements.
• Select and qualify suppliers based on total cost of ownership, quality, risk and sustainability; oversee contract lifecycle and performance.
• Deliver savings targets, manage budgets for direct, indirect and CMO spend, and report on cost impact.
• Coordinate with Planning & Logistics to optimise inventory, working capital and production continuity.
• Provide accurate spend reporting, maintain data integrity in SAP and drive performance dashboards.
• Lead process optimisation, digital procurement initiatives and act as local champion for system implementations.
• Coach and develop the procurement team, set objectives and foster a results‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement functions in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong knowledge of compliance standards such as GMP and EHS.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve cost‑saving objectives.
• Leadership skills to develop and motivate a team.
