Procurement Specialist – Food Brands

About the role

Alshaya Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage food purchasing for its portfolio of international food brands operating in Turkey, including Starbucks, Pinkberry and Shake Shack. The role combines strategic sourcing, cost control and supplier relationship management to support brand growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage food purchasing operations for Alshaya’s food brands, ensuring timely and cost‑effective supply.
• Track product costs, manage budgets and monitor cash‑flow related to procurement activities.
• Coordinate strategic communication and planning with brand teams both locally and abroad.
• Analyze and improve supplier production, order, and delivery processes.
• Research, evaluate and develop alternative products and suppliers.
• Support seasonal product planning and drive performance improvements.
• Develop and implement savings projects and long‑term growth plans aligned with brand strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in food purchasing within the retail sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with persuasive negotiation and communication abilities.
• Solution‑oriented, commercial perspective and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
