Procurement Team Lead – Chemical Raw Materials

About the role

We are looking for an agile, strategic, and hands‑on Procurement Team Leader with a chemical engineering background to manage the purchasing of raw materials for a leading chemical manufacturer. The role ensures uninterrupted supply of chemicals for production in the textile, paint and coating sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day purchasing activities for chemical raw materials, from supplier sourcing to warehouse receipt.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, Incoterms and other commercial conditions with local and international suppliers.
• Monitor material requirements against production plans, forecasts and inventory levels to guarantee continuous production.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Logistics, Customs and Warehouse teams for seamless material flow.
• Track supplier performance, quality issues and supply risks, taking corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 8‑10 years of end‑to‑end supply chain and procurement experience in chemical raw‑material manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience in international raw‑material purchasing, supplier management and price negotiations.
• Business fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Çorlu or nearby areas.
