Product Care Engineer (Product Engineer)

About the role

Festo, a family-owned global supplier of automation technology founded in 1925, is hiring a Product Care Engineer for its Manisa facility. The role ensures the technical sustainability of the assigned product portfolio and contributes to Quality, Cost and Delivery targets, working with headquarters and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for technical issues arising in production.
• Coordinate technical activities with Headquarters, TEC Sofia and other relevant stakeholders.
• Drive product improvements for series products, focusing on quality, cost efficiency, safety and manufacturability.
• Evaluate product change requests from a technical perspective and coordinate their implementation.
• Create and maintain product documentation, assembly instructions and testing instructions.
• Investigate internal and external customer complaints, perform root cause analyses and define corrective actions.
• Provide technical support for new product introductions and product development projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in mechanical product development, design and problem-solving methodologies.
• Knowledge of polymer manufacturing processes, especially plastic injection molding and extrusion.
• Experience with product lifecycle management and engineering change management processes.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel for training and coordination activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP.
• CAD tools, preferably PTC Creo and Windchill.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
