Production Assembly Chief

About the role

We are seeking a Production Assembly Chief to lead our assembly operations and ensure that manufacturing targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are consistently met. You will coordinate daily activities on the shop floor, drive continuous improvement, and support a high‑performing technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing activities in line with operational objectives and budgets.
• Monitor production areas, machinery, processes, and output, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Lead, motivate, and develop assembly technicians and operators; manage shift schedules and performance evaluations.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Procurement, Engineering and other departments to resolve bottlenecks.
• Manage continuous‑improvement projects and evaluate new equipment or techniques.
• Ensure Health & Safety policies are understood and applied by all team members.
• Report production KPIs regularly and contribute to operational planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings, schematics and assembly instructions.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Completed military service for male candidates.
