Production Engineer – Plastic Injection

About the role

Festo is seeking a Production Engineer to join its Manisa facility, focusing on plastic injection processes. The role involves driving efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement across the production line.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, optimise and ensure compliance with production standards such as Standardized Work.
• Introduce measures to meet product cost and productivity targets.
• Define requirements and functional specifications for equipment and production concepts.
• Plan and design workstations using methods like MTM, EAWS and SMED.
• Make production‑related decisions and manage escalation processes.
• Collaborate with maintenance, suppliers, global functions and internal departments to optimise product costs.
• Continuously improve value‑stream processes and support best‑practice roll‑outs.
• Support strategic transformation toward a value‑stream‑oriented organisation.
• Introduce new production technologies and implement engineering standards and KPIs for them.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience in plastic injection processes.
• Excellent command of English.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SAP.
