QA Tester / Test Automation Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

Amaris Consulting, part of Mantu, is looking for a Test Automation Engineer (QA Tester) to design and implement robust test automation architectures for complex enterprise applications. You will build scalable automation frameworks with Rest Assured or Selenium and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into testing and automation. The role is hybrid and requires living in Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain test automation frameworks with Rest Assured (API) and/or Selenium (web UI), and define automation standards and reusable components.
• Analyse requirements and user stories to design test scenarios, and build automated regression, smoke and integration test suites with traceability to requirements and defects.
• Implement LLM-assisted test generation and integrate LLMs into the automation pipeline (log analysis, defect clustering, flaky test analysis, test case optimisation), and set guardrails for their use.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and monitor execution time and stability.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and business analysts, take part in code reviews, mentor junior QA engineers and report test results and quality risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Must reside in Istanbul.

Required skills

• Automation frameworks with Rest Assured and/or Selenium WebDriver.
• Programming in Java, C# or Python, plus test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, PyTest) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), Git and software testing methodologies.
• Nice to have: BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave), Postman/Swagger, Docker/Kubernetes, JMeter/Gatling, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and experience in banking, finance or telecom.
