Quality Assurance Specialist (Supply Chain & Procurement)

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Supply Chain & Procurement team of Alshaya Group in Turkey. The role focuses on maintaining food safety and quality standards across our retail stores and ensuring compliance with both global and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct local quality and food safety audits for stores and production sites.
• Ensure adherence to global standards and local quality management policies.
• Coordinate third‑party audit activities and follow‑up actions.
• Prepare periodic management reports highlighting strengths and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor legal audits and new regulations, updating operational teams accordingly.
• Oversee pest control management programs.
• Manage food analysis activities to verify product compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the food industry, preferably in operational or retail QA.
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing, GMP, SOPs, HACCP and food safety auditing.
• Knowledge of global and local food safety legislation and quality management systems.
• Ability to multitask, stay detail‑oriented and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Completed military service (for male candidates) and no travel restrictions.
