Quality Control Unit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Unit Manager to lead and enhance our quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with company standards, driving continuous improvement, and managing supplier and customer quality interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, develop and monitor quality control processes to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
• Define quality control checkpoints throughout production processes and maintain up‑to‑date procedures and work instructions.
• Plan, monitor and evaluate corrective and preventive actions to improve process effectiveness.
• Analyze product and process non‑conformities, conduct root‑cause analyses and coordinate improvement activities.
• Review customer, dealer and field quality feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate international customer and dealer quality feedback, coordinate with relevant departments and manage improvement projects.
• Manage supplier quality activities, assess supplier performance and lead supplier development initiatives.
• Ensure effective implementation and sustainability of calibration, measurement systems and the overall quality management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in quality management systems and quality control processes.
• At least 3 years of experience managing a team.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management and customer quality processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (preferred).
• Experience with internal and external audit processes.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, reporting and organizational abilities.
• Results‑oriented with solid problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Residence on the Asian side of Istanbul or willingness to relocate.
