Quality Engineer

About the role

alfanar | SFA Electric, a subsidiary of alfanar Group, seeks a Quality/Process Engineer to monitor process quality across production operations in Ankara, Turkey. The role involves managing non‑conformances from customer complaints and internal findings, and driving corrective and preventive actions in close collaboration with production, quality and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up non‑conformance reports (NCRs) from customer complaints, internal findings and production processes.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses with relevant teams using methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone and 8D.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions and assess their effectiveness.
• Track quality controls and process conformity across pre‑fabrication and assembly stages.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of process control points and control plans.
• Analyse recurring non‑conformances to identify improvement opportunities and lead improvement activities with production, quality and technical teams.
• Prepare quality performance reports and follow up related actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical‑Electronics, Industrial, Metallurgical, Materials Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality or Process Quality within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and follow‑up skills.
• Willingness to work actively on the production floor and coordinate with different departments.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Sheet metal processing: laser cutting, bending, welding, painting.
• Mechanical and electromechanical assembly processes.
