Quality Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our Quality team in Istanbul. In this role you will ensure that products and production processes meet quality, safety, hygiene and customer requirements, working closely with multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality certification and customer audits, prepare action plans and ensure closure of actions.
• Investigate customer complaints, support root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and follow up critical quality issues.
• Support implementation of the Quality Management System and continuous improvement activities with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor product and process compliance with specifications, technical drawings, control requirements and safety standards.
• Identify quality risks, manage non‑conformities, implement corrective actions and escalate critical production issues.
• Perform GMP inspections and support hygiene, housekeeping, 5S and shop‑floor management in production areas.
• Handle non‑conforming materials and products, including supplier returns and inspections.
• Support new product preparation and industrialisation from a quality perspective.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Food, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control or manufacturing quality, preferably in a production environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as BRCGS Packaging, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• Understanding of product safety, GMP, internal audits, corrective actions and problem‑solving methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, control plans and inspection requirements.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• BRCGS Packaging certification knowledge.
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 standards.
• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) expertise.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience with quality or ERP systems (advantage).
