Receptionist – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

As a Receptionist at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience and contributing to an overall exceptional stay.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of room categories, rates, packages and promotions.
• Perform audit procedures and manage cash, foreign currency and credit card transactions in line with hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services and facilities through up‑selling techniques to maximise occupancy.
• Communicate guest feedback to Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors.
• Adhere to security, fire safety and health regulations.
• Assist other departments as needed and support training of night‑team members.

Required profile

• University graduate, preferably in Tourism, Hospitality or Business Administration.
• Minimum two years of receptionist experience in the hotel or hospitality sector.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible and able to manage time and priorities.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Experience in cash handling and cashier operations.
