Reservations Agent – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and detail‑oriented Reservations Agent to join our hotel team in Istanbul. In this full‑time position you will handle all reservation inquiries, ensuring guests receive accurate information and a seamless booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax or email.
• Verify room availability, rates, and guarantee policies.
• Explain special rates, cancellation policies and handle special requests.
• Enter accurate data into the reservation system, including complimentary rooms, employee discounts and travel‑agent rates.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Customer‑service mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using reservation software (specific system not named).
• Basic computer literacy.
