Safety Roadside Service Crew (Trucking)

About the role

Freightie Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join its Safety Roadside Service Crew. The team ensures that trucks, drivers, and freight remain safe and operational while on the road, providing real‑time monitoring and rapid assistance when issues arise.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor trucks on the road for safety and performance issues in real time.
• Coordinate roadside assistance and respond to breakdowns.
• Track truck and trailer locations and status.
• Schedule and follow up on preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Collect, organize, and update files for trucks, trailers, and drivers.
• Assist with DOT and company compliance tasks.
• Support safety and operations teams with incident reporting and follow‑up.
• Perform additional duties to support driver safety and equipment uptime.

Required profile

• Prior experience in trucking, dispatch, fleet management, or roadside coordination is preferred (training provided for the right candidate).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle urgent situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7/365 environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS systems.
• Experience using fleet tracking tools.
• Comfort with file management software.
