Supply Planning Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Planning Specialist to join Abbott Türkiye’s supply chain team. The role ensures uninterrupted supply of excipients and packaging materials for third‑party manufacturing plants, supporting the production of healthcare products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute purchase orders for excipients and packaging materials, coordinating with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through regular monitoring, analysis, and monthly reconciliation of raw material and packaging stocks.
• Maintain Bill of Materials, production version data, and safety‑stock parameters in SAP S/4HANA and related spreadsheets.
• Set and achieve annual/quarterly inventory budgets, adjusting safety stock and identifying opportunities to improve days‑on‑hand and cash flow.
• Develop proactive relationships with suppliers and third‑party manufacturers to anticipate and mitigate material shortages.
• Collaborate with import, procurement, quality, finance, demand planning and other supply chain functions to resolve delivery issues.
• Support project, equipment change and NPI meetings, ensuring material requirements are met.
• Maintain master data such as lead times, standard costs, minimum order quantities, and monitor slow‑moving or obsolete items.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply planning and inventory management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on maintaining uninterrupted material flow.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with procurement, quality, finance and operations teams.
