Sales Engineer - CCaaS & Contact Center Solutions

About the role

Avaya is looking for a Sales Engineer to act as a primary technical driver in accelerating adoption of its Infinity platform, which covers CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service), omnichannel, AI/ML, intelligent orchestration and business application integration. The role suits a strategic technologist who can turn complex capabilities into clear business outcomes. It is based in Turkey and can be worked remotely from home within Turkey; no virtual work outside Turkey or sponsorship is available.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and design of large-scale CCaaS solutions, integrating voice and digital channels (chat, email, social, messaging)
• Architect and present solutions using embedded and third-party AI/ML services for conversational AI, real-time agent assist, sentiment analysis and workflow orchestration
• Create and deliver product demonstrations and PoCs showing value and integrations with CRM, WFO and ERP applications
• Act as technical advisor to the sales team and customer executives on security, compliance, API integration, cloud architecture and TCO
• Keep up with the CCaaS competitive landscape (e.g. Genesys, NICE CXone, Amazon Connect) and position Avaya's differentiation

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years in a technical pre-sales, solution consulting or solution architecture role, with 5+ years in CCaaS/SaaS/cloud contact centers
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Local languages and English required
• Willingness to travel to support business as required

Required skills

• Hands-on CCaaS architecture design, including microservices, multi-region deployments and consumption models
• Conversational AI and NLP integration, and end-to-end omnichannel journey design
• RESTful APIs, webhooks and CPaaS concepts, with integrations such as Salesforce and ServiceNow
• Orchestration and workflow design, preferably with low-code/no-code platforms
• Strong presentation, whiteboarding and executive communication skills
• Preferred: traditional Avaya stack knowledge, basic scripting (JavaScript, Python), cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) or vendor certifications
