Seeds Category Marketing Manager

About the role

Vylor is seeking a Seeds Category Marketing Manager to lead the corn product portfolio. The role focuses on developing and executing product and lifecycle strategies that align with customer needs and regional asset plans, driving sales, market share, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the corn product lineup to achieve sales and margin targets.
• Define product positioning and develop marketing plans linked to the FYP initiative.
• Train sales teams on product knowledge and communication.
• Collaborate with research teams and European product managers on product lifecycle and advancement.
• Monitor competitor activity and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Pioneer and other brands.
• Design, implement, and evaluate field trials; conduct visits to understand product behavior.
• Analyze market segments, competitors, dealers, and farmer utilization.
• Perform SWOT analysis and propose action plans to meet sales goals.
• Create promotional and technical support materials in coordination with agronomists and communication teams.
• Support sales teams during customer visits, product launches, and promotional events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering; a master’s in marketing is preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in agribusiness, preferably in marketing, product management, or commercial functions.
• Strong knowledge of the seed market and its ecosystem.
• Understanding of operational planning and product development processes.
• Proven ability to create, launch, and manage brands successfully.
• Excellent analytical abilities, including market research and economic analysis.
• Customer‑oriented attitude, teamwork skills, and proactive problem‑solving.
