Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join the finance team of a leading international organization. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, executing month‑end and year‑end close processes, and driving continuous improvement across accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Manage accurate and timely month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of General Ledger accounts.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure precise financial records.
• Monitor accounting transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with finance and cross‑functional teams to streamline accounting processes.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Participate in SAP FI‑related accounting activities and support system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in General Ledger or corporate accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month‑end closing processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FI.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multinational environment.
• Experience in multinational companies is a strong advantage; CPA (SMMM) certification is a plus.
