Senior Associate Lawyer – Corporate Department

About the role

Postacıoğlu Law Firm is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Corporate Department in Istanbul. The successful candidate will advise both domestic and international clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including complex transactions and strategic legal risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and negotiation of complex commercial agreements and corporate documents.
• Support and execute mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence to post‑closing integration.
• Provide corporate governance advice and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess and communicate legal risks across all matters, offering practical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior colleagues on client‑facing deliverables and build long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• Law degree from a reputable university; an LL.M. or related postgraduate qualification is an asset.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate, commercial and M&A law within a reputable law firm or multinational corporation.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and data protection or competition law (preferred).
• Professional working proficiency in French and strong command of English.
• Excellent analytical, research and written communication skills.
