Senior Cloud Operations & AI Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior cloud operations engineer who builds AI‑native automation to handle incidents and improve reliability for a high‑profile SaaS platform serving Fortune 100 brands.

Key responsibilities

• On‑call and incident command: first‑responder, triage, resolve and escalate customer‑impacting events.
• Design, deploy, tune and maintain autonomous AI agents for pre‑triage, change validation, auto‑healing and RCA drafting.
• Ensure safe production execution by routing deployments, configuration changes and cost‑optimisation actions through quality gates with tested rollbacks.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, ship permanent fixes and close the loop on prevention.
• Document procedures so agents and teammates can retrieve knowledge automatically.

Required profile

• 5+ years in production SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering or Cloud Operations on large‑scale SaaS.
• Deep AWS expertise at scale (multi‑AZ, multi‑account, incident management, infrastructure automation).
• Self‑directed ownership and ability to run shifts independently.
• AI‑native operating style with experience using agentic tooling such as Claude Code, Codex or Warp.
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (or equivalent depth).
• Fluent English and availability for on‑call rotations.
• OFAC‑clear country of residence.
