Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist

About the role

Arvato, a Bertelsmann subsidiary and global service provider in e-commerce and supply chain management, is looking for a Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist in Istanbul. The role covers payroll, statutory compliance, incentive programmes and personnel administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processes and bonus, additional payment and other payment processes
• Follow up e-declarations, social security procedures, onboarding and offboarding, severance calculations, statutory notifications and related processes for all employees
• Manage employment incentive programmes and follow up statutory processes with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, İŞKUR and SGK
• Update employee information in HR systems and manage personnel administration
• Develop HR regulations, procedures and guidelines, and implement disciplinary processes in line with company policy and Turkish Labour Law
• Prepare HR reports and statistics and carry out related analyses

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Labour Economics and Industrial Relations, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in payroll, payroll accruals and personnel administration
• Strong practical knowledge of Labour Law No. 4857, Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510, Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, employment incentives and current legislation
• Resides on the Anatolian side of Istanbul or in Gebze, Darıca or Çayırova; active driver; male candidates must have completed compulsory military service

Required skills

• Good knowledge of HR systems, preferably Humanist and Meyer
• Reporting and budget planning experience
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• English is preferred
