Senior Consultant - Strategy

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Consultant in Strategy to lead medium-sized consulting projects and support larger, complex engagements within its Consulting Services division. You will work closely with senior leadership and manage teams of analysts and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage resources to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Coach and support project team members to meet personal and professional objectives.
• Develop client relationships through face‑to‑face discussions, workshops, and other communications.
• Design, structure and deliver client reports and presentations.
• Identify opportunities for follow‑on work and new leads.
• Support the development of client bids, proposal presentations and intellectual property.

Required profile

• Strong capability in managing projects and juggling priorities to meet deadlines with high quality outcomes.
• Experience working in sizable, multi‑disciplined teams and supervising staff.
• Ability to work effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals.
• Experience developing credible relationships with senior managers and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
• Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills.
• 6‑8 years of professional experience in consulting, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with evidence of career progression.

Required skills

• Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, workshop facilitation, business and report writing.
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques (desirable, not critical).
• Excellent conversational and business English; additional languages are an advantage.
