Senior Data Analyst – Wholesale Banking & Advanced Analytics

About the role

Join ING's Wholesale Banking Advanced Analytics team to shape data‑driven decisions across the global banking network. You will work with large‑scale datasets, modern analytics platforms, and international stakeholders to deliver insights that improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Develop reporting solutions, dashboards, and visualisations with Power BI, Cognos or similar BI tools.
• Identify trends, patterns, anomalies and improvement opportunities across Wholesale Banking processes.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to deliver scalable analytics products.
• Support data‑quality initiatives, profiling activities and analytics best practices.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in data analytics, reporting or statistics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to understand and support machine‑learning and AI‑driven initiatives.

Required skills

• SQL
• Python (including PySpark)
• Power BI, Cognos, Tableau or Superset
• Statistical analysis and quantitative problem‑solving techniques
• Experience with large, complex data environments
