Senior Design Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Design Specialist to join the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant project in Mersin. The role focuses on producing detailed shop drawings for steel structures, ensuring compliance with design documentation and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, general arrangement, assembly, and connection details for steel structures.
• Generate bills of materials (BOM) and bills of elements.
• Review and incorporate comments on shop drawings, delivering timely revisions.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to guarantee drawing accuracy.
• Organize documentation required for fabrication and production activities.
• Ensure all drawings meet applicable standards, codes, and project procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in steel structure detailing, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Experience on large‑scale industrial facility projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of welding processes and standards is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
