Senior Devops Engineer

About the role

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines that support the delivery of enterprise applications. The role focuses on automation, containerization, and cloud‑based environments to ensure scalable and reliable software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines aligned with project timelines and quality standards.
• Manage source control using Git and implement effective branching strategies.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline build, release, and deployment processes.
• Integrate and maintain tools such as Jira, BitBucket, Confluence, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• Support and troubleshoot issues in Linux and Windows environments.
• Develop and manage containerized applications and orchestration platforms, preferably OpenShift.
• Implement GitOps and Infrastructure as Code practices, preferably using Terraform.
• Contribute to configuration, release, and database deployment processes.
• Prepare and present regular progress and risk reports to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps or a related role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, automation, and cloud environments.
• Experience with OpenShift, Docker, or other container orchestration platforms.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with web servers (IIS, Apache, Nginx, HAProxy) and client‑server architectures.
• Experience with IaC tools, preferably Terraform.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
