Senior Electrical Project Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Randstad Türkiye is recruiting a Senior Electrical Project Maintenance Engineer for the Ankara manufacturing site of its global partner, a leading healthcare products company. The engineer takes part in the design, technical evaluation and field execution of the new factory's electrical infrastructure, and ensures reliable operation of electrical systems after commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on LV distribution, transformers, busbars, cabling, generators, DB/MCC/DCC panels, UPS, grounding and lightning protection systems
• Follow up on ELV systems such as weak current, fire detection, CCTV, access control, data/telephone and emergency announcement
• Take part in BMS and HVAC electrical/automation integration
• Evaluate electrical requirements of process equipment and coordinate with facility infrastructure
• Manage electrical interfaces with EPC/contractors, process equipment suppliers and other disciplines
• Monitor compliance with project and technical specifications, and supervise contractor and supplier installations
• Take part in FAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, SAT and functional tests, and follow test protocols, acceptance documents and punch lists
• Ensure completion of as-built documentation and reliable operation of electrical, HVAC automation, BMS, fire detection, UPS, generator and weak current systems after commissioning
• Plan preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, determine maintenance strategies and spare parts needs, and carry out root cause analysis
• Monitor energy consumption and contribute to energy efficiency projects
• Create and maintain maintenance procedures, instructions and technical documentation

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Electrical-Electronics Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience, preferably in industrial facilities, manufacturing plants or large CAPEX projects, including greenfield factory set-up
• Experience in electrical design, field application and commissioning, and in FAT/SAT and acceptance processes
• Experience managing contractors and suppliers and preparing technical specifications, preferably URS
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, schematics and panel drawings, and good technical English
• Willingness to work in the field during intensive commissioning periods

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of LV distribution, weak current, fire detection, BMS and HVAC automation
• PLC, SCADA and automation systems; Siemens TIA Portal preferred
• Project tracking, problem solving, coordination and communication
• Proficiency in MS Office
