Senior Embedded Systems Engineer – RF Systems

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer with deep expertise in RF systems to lead the design, development, and optimization of embedded platforms for next‑generation wireless technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement embedded system architectures for RF front‑end and transceiver platforms.
• Develop firmware and low‑level drivers for RF control, calibration, and signal processing.
• Integrate RF hardware such as PAs, LNAs, filters, tuners, switches, and transceivers with embedded software.
• Research new embedded control methodologies for adaptive RF systems, including beamforming and dynamic tuning.
• Prototype and validate algorithms for RF calibration, power management, and signal integrity.
• Develop automated test frameworks, perform system‑level debugging, profiling, and optimization to ensure real‑time performance.
• Validate compliance with wireless standards (LTE, 5G NR, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth) and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with silicon, RF design, hardware, and systems engineering teams, providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Required profile

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded systems engineering with a focus on RF systems.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded software development for real‑time systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, and SoCs used in RF applications.
• Solid understanding of RF system design, calibration, and control.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and oscilloscopes.
