Staff RFIC Design Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Staff RFIC Design Engineer to join its RF Semiconductors team in Istanbul, Turkey. The role focuses on developing advanced RF components such as beamformers, mixers, detectors, and amplifiers for a variety of markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design integrated circuits at the transistor level for RF blocks, covering multiple process and packaging technologies.
• Lead technical problem‑resolution, define design approaches, trade‑offs, and success criteria for high‑impact projects.
• Perform silicon bring‑up, first‑silicon characterization, root‑cause analysis, and drive corrective iterations.
• Document designs, produce reports, and communicate results clearly across cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (PhD preferred) with at least 7 years of relevant RF IC design experience.
• Strong understanding of S‑parameters, transmission‑line theory, and RF networks.
• Proven ability to innovate, simulate, and verify circuit performance at both transistor and architectural levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to mentor junior engineers.

Required skills

• RF circuit design and transistor‑level simulation.
• Cadence and ADSS design environments.
• Electromagnetic simulation tools such as EMPro and HFSS.
• IC tape‑out experience and familiarity with test equipment for RF characterization.
