Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

A full-time Senior Frontend Developer is sought in Istanbul, working closely with UI/UX designers to turn design visions into functional, visually appealing web applications. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the user-facing parts of the company's web platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive web designs.
• Develop user interfaces using React JS, Next JS and TypeScript.
• Optimise applications for speed and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve issues.
• Work with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs.
• Take part in code reviews and give feedback to peers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, web development or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in English.
• Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, a sense of ownership and good teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with CSS and React JS.
• Experience with Next JS, client-side and server-side rendering.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and thorough understanding of React and Next JS principles.
• State management such as Redux, familiarity with RESTful APIs, and pre-processors like SASS or LESS.
• Git, HTML and CSS; build tools such as Gulp and Webpack, and package managers like NPM or Yarn are a plus.
