Senior Global Quality Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Global Quality Manager to act as Deputy to the Global Head of Quality at Weidmann Electrical Technology. The role will shape and execute the global quality strategy across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coach the global quality team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Deploy the global quality strategy in line with corporate objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer‑specific requirements.
• Define, enforce and harmonise global quality standards, policies and procedures across all sites.
• Conduct global risk assessments related to quality, product conformity and compliance.
• Promote standardisation, best‑practice sharing and continuous improvement initiatives worldwide.
• Define, track and report global quality KPIs and management metrics.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve quality issues and lead complex quality cases involving multifunctional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of quality management experience in an international, multi‑site environment.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to lead cross‑functional quality initiatives.
• Strong project management, problem‑solving and process‑improvement skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
