Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Stelab is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join its consulting and services team. You will lead the development of intelligent solutions, advise external customers and help junior engineers with their tasks and technical development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of intelligent solutions for external customers
• Consult with external customers on their needs
• Help junior engineers and support their technical development

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Robotics or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a machine learning engineer in computer vision-related fields
• Multiple successful projects (or sub-projects) demonstrating experience and skills
• Publications are a plus

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and deep learning libraries such as PyTorch, PyTorch-Lightning, NumPy and Pandas
• Good knowledge of Python best practices and DevOps
• Good knowledge of deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of software delivery and productionization
• Strong mathematical and logical background, good deep learning knowledge and strong understanding of computer vision tasks
• Knowledge of UI/UX and GUIs is a plus

The selection process includes a first interview, three technical interviews (deep learning, Python, logical thinking) and a one-week coding project.
