Senior Project Associate – Protection & Labour Mobility

About the role

The Senior Project Associate will support the coordination and implementation of labour mobility activities in pilot provinces of Southeast Turkey. Working under the National Officer (Protection) and the Senior Project Associate – Protection, the role involves case management, referrals, and field presence to ensure effective programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor labour mobility activities, including case management processes.
• Facilitate referrals and service mapping for migrants, refugees, IDPs, and trafficking victims.
• Conduct beneficiary assessments and develop individual action plans.
• Maintain regular liaison with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate reports, documentation, and analytical summaries.
• Travel frequently to project sites across Southeast Turkey and other regions as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Political/Social Sciences, International Relations, Migration Studies, Law or related field with at least four years relevant experience, or high school diploma with six years experience.
• Proven experience working with migrants, refugees, IDPs, victims of trafficking, and vulnerable groups.
• Experience in labour mobility, socio‑economic integration, and employability programmes.
• Willingness and ability to undertake frequent field travel.
• Previous experience in Southeast Turkey is an advantage.
