Senior RF Design Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Senior RFIC Design Engineer to join its RF Semiconductors team in Istanbul. You will lead the design of RF components such as beamformers, mixers, detectors, switches, attenuators, filters, phase shifters, and amplifiers for a variety of market applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design integrated circuits at the transistor level for RF blocks.
• Perform design evaluation, first‑silicon characterization, and detailed analysis.
• Develop RF products across multiple process and packaging technologies.
• Resolve complex technical issues by analyzing root causes and recommending solutions.
• Contribute to and sometimes lead cross‑functional projects.
• Prepare documentation and reports for product development.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred; PhD a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant RF design experience.
• Strong understanding of S‑parameters, transmission‑line theory, and RF networks.
• Proven IC tape‑out experience.

Required skills

• RF circuit design at transistor and behavioral/architectural levels.
• Proficiency with Cadence and ADSS design environments.
• Experience using electromagnetic simulators such as EMPro and/or HFSS.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and characterization methods (preferred).
