Senior Software Developer

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the Ericsson Wallet Platform team. You will be involved in all phases of the software lifecycle, shaping CI/CD architecture, mentoring teammates and driving automation across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML, Bash and automation tools.
• Build, manage and optimise containerised environments with Docker and Podman, and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Develop and maintain Java applications (EJB, Quarkus) and Python/Flask services backed by PostgreSQL.
• Integrate AI services such as Claude API into internal tools to boost productivity.
• Lead small technical workstreams, review code, mentor junior developers and ensure quality delivery.
• Perform load and performance testing with Locust and maintain automated test suites using Robot Framework.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work independently.
• Proven experience in software architecture, micro‑services and cloud‑native deployments.
• Experience leading small teams or technical workstreams and conducting code reviews.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and task tracking in Jira.
