Social Media Specialist - Gaming

About the role

Metavision Studio is a game development studio creating PC and console games for a global audience. It is looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Specialist to promote its games, create engaging content and build relationships with content creators worldwide. The position is full-time and based in Istanbul.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X and Discord
• Capture gameplay footage and turn it into short-form videos, viral clips and promotional content
• Research and reach out to gaming content creators on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok
• Build and manage influencer partnerships, including outreach, negotiations, campaign coordination and content scheduling
• Plan and run marketing campaigns for Steam Next Fest, game demos and upcoming launches
• Monitor trends and campaigns to develop creative promotional ideas
• Track and analyse social media performance, influencer campaigns and audience engagement
• Support initiatives to grow Steam wishlists, community and game visibility

Required profile

• Experience in social media management, content creation or influencer marketing
• Familiarity with influencer outreach, communication and campaign management
• Strong written and verbal English for working with international creators
• Genuine interest in gaming, especially PC games and the Steam ecosystem
• Nice to have: gaming industry marketing experience, Steam Next Fest and wishlist campaign knowledge, experience with international influencers, Discord community management, viral trend spotting and social media analytics

Required skills

• Video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve
• Short-form video content creation
• Strong creativity, communication, organisational and time management skills
