Software Engineer

About the role

MobileAction is seeking an organized, motivated, and passionate Software Engineer to join its engineering team. You will work in an open, collaborative, high‑trust environment, contributing to scalable SaaS products while expanding your technical expertise alongside experienced teammates.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features across a microservices architecture.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Java code.
• Participate in code reviews and create automated tests.
• Improve existing applications and services, supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot bugs, analyze production incidents, and enhance system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Share knowledge with teammates and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools where appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and software design principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and modern version‑control workflows.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
