Software Engineer

About the role

Inovat Energy Storage Solutions is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join its engineering team. You will develop dynamic, high‑performance software solutions that support a range of energy storage projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Go.
• Create and document RESTful APIs and, where needed, gRPC services.
• Implement containerized applications with Docker and, optionally, orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate messaging systems such as Kafka, MQTT, or RabbitMQ.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical‑Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Go (Golang) with solid understanding of goroutines, channels, interfaces, context, concurrency, and error handling.
• Design and development of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers (plus).
• Relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Docker and containerization.
• Kubernetes and cloud‑native architectures (plus).
• Messaging systems such as Kafka, MQTT, or RabbitMQ (plus).
• Software design principles, clean code practices.
• Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
• Linux‑based development environments.
• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or React (plus).
