About the role

Chery, a Chinese auto company active in the research, production and sale of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, mini cars, special vehicles and powertrain systems, is looking for a Spare Parts Warehouse Chief. The role manages and oversees the daily operations of the spare parts warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the spare parts warehouse
• Keep stock accurate and organized, carrying out necessary inventory checks
• Coordinate parts receipt and delivery so that orders are processed accurately and on time by the outsourcing company
• Help optimize warehouse space while following safety standards
• Manage spare parts inventory and place orders according to demand and stock levels
• Control the outsourcing warehouse staff and propose improvements to boost efficiency
• Prepare periodic reports for management
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards

Required profile

• University degree or vocational college diploma, preferably in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
• At least 8 years of experience in spare parts management (automotive preferred)
• English proficiency
• Experience in inventory control processes and attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with discipline and a solution-oriented mindset

Required skills

• Inventory management, warehouse operations and material tracking
• MS Office and warehouse management software; ERP experience is a plus
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving
