Storeman – Stewarding (Hotel Operations)

About the role

The Storeman – Stewarding is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, distribution and inventory control of all equipment, cleaning products and consumables used by the stewarding department. Working on‑site at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel, you will ensure that stock levels are accurate and that the back‑of‑house operates smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming supplies.
• Label and store items according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate stock entry and exit records.
• Prepare and deliver material requests from various departments on time.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages.
• Apply FIFO principles to keep inventory organized.
• Keep the storage area clean, orderly and safe.
• Report damaged, broken or near‑expiry items.
• Participate in periodic stock counts and ensure data accuracy.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or stewarding environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with stock management or inventory tracking systems.
