Strategy Director - Media

About the role

Reed Turkey is recruiting a Strategy Director for a client in the media sector. The role manages media strategists and leads day-to-day deliverables on a single account or several accounts, covering business objectives, insight generation, cultural narrative, media briefs, creative media solutions, strategic points of view and go-to-market activations. It also involves delivering thought leadership and award-winning ideas to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically lead day-to-day strategic work for client(s)
• Develop, manage and grow a team of media strategists
• Deliver proactive thought leadership to client(s)
• Lead and/or contribute to new business pitches
• Contribute to agency thought leadership or initiatives
• Guide how audiences contribute to overall business goals
• Guide award-winning work through creative media solutions

Required profile

• 10+ years of total professional experience; 2-3 years in strategy is sufficient
• Strong corporate background
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive, entrepreneurial, able to take initiative and solve problems
• Comfortable working with demanding stakeholders and clients
• Advanced level of English

Preferred profile

• Background in performance marketing, media planning, strategy planning and digital marketing
