Stress Analysis Engineer

About the role

Turkiye Technology Center, a joint venture of GE Aerospace, GE MTC and TEI, is seeking Stress Analysis Engineers to join its new technology hub in Kartal, Istanbul. The role offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge aircraft and industrial engine repair projects, applying advanced finite element analysis techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Perform stress and life‑cycle analyses for engine certification and qualification projects under senior engineer guidance.
• Support design optimisation to achieve target life goals and conduct failure investigations.
• Assess test capabilities of engine hardware and document technical findings.
• Communicate analysis results and recommendations to internal and external GE Aerospace customers.
• Maintain project documentation in line with engineering policies and share best practices within the global GE Aerospace team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong interest in learning or leading Finite Element Analysis (FEA) projects.
• Self‑motivated, eager to develop expertise in stress assessment.
• Solid foundation in Mechanics of Materials.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
